            thank you…fifi & janet

i say too much to my ILs over their biased treatment also no use cos if they think they are right, there is no way to make them see their error.

so i always console myself…ren zhai zhuo, tian zhai kan (What Men do, Heaven can see)

              :yikes: Oh CookiesMonter,

Don't bother ironing out anything with your ILs. They won't listen, maybe you might even get into more trouble.

Your DH is the only one who can try to knock some sense into them. If he has already tried or does not agree with your thinking, then forget it. It's better to ignore, avoid your ILs rather than to confront them with such issues unless you are courting \"death\"!

Yes, agree. Their mindset is stuck...nothing can get in and nobody can change them. Can't teach an old dog(s) new tricks. Even my hubby, the favorite son has given up.

It's worse if you DH is not the favourite. Then they pile all the blame on you... ...

ILs issues better stay far far away. Act blur and avoid! I'm sure Janet agrees too. 🦆

I'm a pro avoiding...learning how to be a pro at acting blur.
Where his family is concerned, I do not wish to get involved bcos his mother always believe that eldest son is in charge...whew, mine is #2.

One family ? The only family she sees as family are her own children. She sees daughters-in-law and grandchildren as family when it is CNY. Other than that, my hair stands when she suddenly comes close. Sorry, I don't need this kind of closeness after 13 years of her double-faced nonsense.
