Menstrual Cramp Relief
-
Hi,
the following sanitary napkin can help. Do give it a try. I was very skeptical and have thought that it was too expensive at first, but after my first month using it, I decided to stay on with it. Can't explain the technology behind it but basically the FIR and Negative Ion can regulate your menstrual flow. For me I experience significantly lighter flow thus changing less frequently(used to need to change 2 hrly on first 2 days). This breaks even for the price issue as I need not change so frequently and my menstrual duration is shortened too. Friend's gal has no more cramp first month into using. Regulate before menses arrive by using the liners(which also have the Negative Ion strips) 2 weeks before the 'M' day. That's how we experience the result in the 1st month. Do try it to feel the difference.

i used to have bad cramp too on the first and second day.
i find that exercise and stretching does help
Yoga (Yin) also helps, after practising for 6 months, i find that my periods are more regular and less painful -
I have tried paste the heat warmer pad on the clothes near stomach.
Seems to work in relief the cramp. -
My doctor prescribed me Ponstan when I was a teenager. I asked her whether there would be any side effect or addiction to painkiller? She said since only took 1 tablet once a month, no problem la.
Stay away from cold drinks & ice cream even when not having period. -
Taking rainbow light multivitamin, fish oil and black currant seed oil helps for me. Sometimes I take 2 capsules of fish oil a few days before AF.

if there is cramp or backache, I take paracetamol. sometimes, I do get migraines the day before menses or 1st 2 days...if migraine hits, then ponstan does help...but if taking ponstan, then have to take antacid. -

I am aware of that danger...but when I am bent into half in pain, I will take pain killer.
I am taking lots of water and walk to ease my menstrual cramp. My mom never advise me of taking pain killers as this might have caused damage to my liver. -
Normal paracetamol 250mg per tablet , not more than 8 A day is perfectly alright .
As advised by Gynae n family doc last time
Just note dun eat most medicine with empty stomach .
