They should complain to the authority. From these cases, we see that CPIB will step in regardless how high ranking these people are. If they are corrupted, they will take them down.

I wish to see more of such unethical practices exposed. Only by doing so can people like me who are working hard to secure deals be rewarded. I will be pissed if I lose out to competitors not because of my pricing and quality of goods but because they willing to go that \"extra\" mile.
Doing biz is also about developing relationships,
not just pricing n quality of ur sales proposal.
If NBG has explicitly seek sexual gratifications fr CS
n she had given them in return for IT contracts,
then it is a clear case of corruption.
d first 2 contracts were awarded to STE (IIRC), n not directly to HDS,
      which was a subcon to STE; no $ trail;
private sexual ‘transactions’ between two individuals (fr their perspectives).
NBG probably thot he has all his bases covered,
but he overlooked CS biz rivals who got red eye.
U rub my back, I’ll rub yours – happens all d time in d real, not ideal, world.
Is it corruption if there is no direct link bwt d contracts n sex?

I am in IT sales and I seriously believe many of my lady colleagues are doing the right things. Please do not stereotype them because of the wrongdoings of a few. 😞

        Not stereotyping IT sales here.
My reply to concern2 is dat there will always be some who r prepared to go d extra mile to clinch a deal.

        Some won't, some will.

I agree. Those who will probably will do things to further their careers, be it in IT sales or not.[/quote]My stand is I will not do business with people who go the 'extra mile'. If they are willing to relax their morals now, in the future there is no guarantee they will not screw you back.

This is why we must teach our kids that sometimes even if they do their best, they may still lose out to people who resort to dishonest methods. This is the harsh reality of the world. But we must also teach our kids that no matter what, they should not resort to such measures. Because at the end of the day they must be proud that even if they do not achieve the result, they can hold their heads up high and retain their conscience.

I am not surprised Oracle do not sack her. I've heard from friends in the IT field (I was also in IT field last time) that a lot of these underhanded dealings are conducted with the managament being aware of it. And most likely if Oracle sacks her because of this it will just open more cans of worms.
Does dis 'instruction' - \"Just get d deal, n I don't want to know how u do it.\" sounds familiar?
When something like dis breaks into d open, u can bet ur last dollar management will say d company does not condone such practices.

Anyway, I think this is the first time Straits Times printed the picture of a woman in this kind of case right? Someone must have been very pissed and wanted to fix her.
I gathered it was dis complaint to CPIB dat launch a thousand ships,
also netting PL n other 3 women.
            Expect more.

              Gud virtue to live by.
d first time is d hardest.
But once one dips his/her fingers in d pot,
it will become difficult to stop.
n u will eventually be found out.

Actually hor, I am thinking of those who lost the contracts to these during those bids. Must find a way to remind your bosses,\"Not that I didn't do a good job you know, I just didn't go another 'step' further...\" 😆
The boss will say.. \"Then you have not gone far enough....\"

I am really surprised that they published the photo of Ms Sue. It is not proven that this is a corruption case, it really could be an affair. It seems a bit harsh to publish her photo when they are not proven guilty yet.
