      Attention all SCGS aspirants!

Don't only look at smgs as alternative.

RGPS, NYPS, MGS all still have spaces! There's still a chance of no ballot if you live outside of 2km.
what are the existing stats as of end today? it is hard to imagine that we stand a chance beyong 2km....

      MGS 25 out of 28
      RGPS 35 out of 42
      NYPS 23 out of 25

does anyone know how may are SCs < 1km?

tomorrow first thing in the morning, call up Nanyang, MGS, RGPS get first hand info on distance break down and zoom in on # of SC. Ignore PR as they have to queue over the other side, wait until the last SC > 2km has got in, only then can they start charging in (if ever this can happen).

definitely hv to look into it :thankyou:

omg 41 SCs < 1km for SCGS.... gone... gone... gone...

how many PRs apply for SCGS, end of day 1 ?
in the event PRs no chance left at SCGS (very high possiblity), they may consider change wind direction and blow towards St Marg or Marymount.

Thought spursburger is a SC so no impact for her even if PRs go to ST Marg or Marymount C. Anyway there are still rgps which I think can look out for as due to shifting to temp location in 2 yrs time so it will discourage some of the applicants.

NYPS and RGPS might not be as popular this year as they are moving to temporary schools next year and parents might not want the inconvenience of longer travel time and perceived disruption to routine when they shift back to permanent premises. Besides, distance is based on original site, and some parents might not know that, we need to have a look at the stats to be sure.

NYPS has another benefit over SCGS - grandchildren regardless of gender will not have this problem we are facing now!

If we can get a place successfully, what is inconvenience? We will sacrifice for our children. When there is a will, there is a way.

                      Hi

I wanted to share that I asked the teacher at the SCGS registration table on the withdrawal process and she told me that ORIGINAL ICs of both parents are required. We will also be required to fill in a withdrawal form. I told her other schs do not require original IC to withdraw but she insisted those are MOE guidelines.

So for parents like me who might want to withdraw tomorrow, pls take note. You will need both ICs to withdraw so you and hubby cannot split up and each station at SCGS and the other school.

                      Thanks.

                        Update!!!

                        A for now!!!
                        SCGS
                        45 SC for 29 seats…

                        I really don’t believe this…

All SC living less then 1km
                        All Girls born in 2006

This is not right!!! Must be many Fake addresses! / Rental addresses…
This is so unfair for OWNERS who OWN property that been living in the area for a long time…
