        http://i45.tinypic.com/mkc5l5.jpg\">

For P3, it is tough. Do they learn decimal in P3?

        1-4/12-2/6=12/12-4/12-4/12=4/12

        4/12 * 1000 ml = 333.333ml = 0.333 litre

        Is this anwer correct?

My goodness. The kids should think on the spot to answer all these questions. I am sure my DD will not know that she can write 4/12 or 1/3 litre and she will think think think forever.

I was also confused as in how to convert to litre? Currently asking DD to check with teacher to see if there is a typo error in that question. Will update again.

Mrs Ng went shopping. If she bought a dress , she’d be short of $4.50. If she bought a skirt, she’d be left with $11.70. How much more expensive was the dress then the skirt.

                      Hi SPI,

                      Hope the model is clear.

sorry I realise that the amount should be $11.70 not $11.50.
Please change that. So the answer will be $16.20

From Ai Tong Pri 3 SA1 Maths:

A teacher gave her students some balloons. If she gave 6 balloons to each student, she will have 2 balloons left. If she gave 8 balloons to each student, she will be short of 2 balloons. What is the smallest possible number of students she has?

I'll probably use trial and error method and hope that she is not giving out >100 balloons. 😂
                        Ans: 2 students...correct?

                        2+2/8-6
                        = 4/2
                        =2

                        She had 2 students.
