the oral conversation for english oral. When is her happy moments... and she mentioned about her visit to universal studio...lol... for chinese oral conversation.. about the school rules.

Actually my dd say that the conversation can use 1/3 of all the ideas. The feelings are either angry/sad/happy. Mostly nothing else

I'm a newbie here. Never post anything in Kiasu parents before. Started to read this thread yesterday at the 11th hr. Sigh. What to do, a working mom don't have all the time in the world...

My son told me the picture looks like a kindergarten school setting - and yes, it was about story telling. The conversation part, he says the happiest time he had was when he was in P3 when he received his SA2 results as he did very well....Oh mine, what a stressed up kid. Oral also talk about exam! 😞

So must learn from today’s oral, the conversation topic may not 100% related to the picture.

my son talked about how he did not do well for his exams last lear but i did not scold him, therefore he was relieved and happy. All a lie, when he did not do well, i scolded him very badly. Btw his question was what made you happy.

You do see the reason why SEAB makes the question for conversation not directly related to the picture. It is to prevent us from using ideas in the picture!!! We shouldn’t actually blame them instead of sulking that our efforts gone to waste. I am a student myself and I feel that the questions still have a relationship there but it is mostly unpredictable. No one can be a 100% sure what the questions are.

However hard it may be, we must still be prepared to change strategies in the crux of the situation and expose ourselves to a wide variety of topics. I wish you and/or your kids all the best for tomorrow

Today's English oral was pretty hard. Reading was okay. In the picture there's a lady buying fish balls on a stick, boy crying because his balloon burst and a student is giving another one to him. 😓 At the other side there's a man taking cookies after donating some money. Conversation was extremely easy! :cheeky: They asked about an event hosted by our school. At least it's the last oral examination in Primary School. :rahrah:
