At first glance, I'm just happy that whichever baby used that bottle was not being breast fed. :scared:

After sterilising this bottle in a steam steiliser, it became like this.

Is this a defect? Safe to use the bottle when it returns to its original shape?

Absolutely. Bring it back to the company. They will be more than happy to replace it for you... and then try to get you to remove this posting šŸ™‚

The bottle is made of material that is suitable for boiling. I used to boil my nuk bottles when I am on holiday without the steriliser and it hadnt come close to yours.
Should check with distributor about this.

                    u overheated d bottle izzit?

As these are BPA free , the ability to withstand heat, reactions to detergents, etc is lower .
Looks like the bottle was exposed to Steam too long or at higher temp ?
There may be some changes in those polymers used bcos of that and so may not be advisable to use.

Don't think the bottle will return to original shape on cooling ?

This is the second time already. The first time when this happened, I thought of returning it. But the bottle went back to its original shape after dunno how long. So no proof even if I bring it back to distributor.
