Are there many students given conditional promotion? Are there students who cannot make the grade after conditional promotion ask to leave the school?I think if u conditional promote at year one to year two .
If cannot make the cut at year 2 u will be made to repeat
For such cases, what are the options for those cannot cope with higher Chinese?

Hi anyone knows if English teachers give a list of recommended books for students to read to improve their english?
They would recommend a list of books to read, but not specifically to improve English. I would feel, the best is read news articles, commentory and opinions section. And get back to the basic, look out for the difficult words, find the mening and memorize them.
