Anyone know Just Edu or Mindstretcher better for Science tuition?

Both centres are good. Both centres offer high achievers classes. Mind stretcher course fees are slightly higher than Just Education.

My child is also with Serena greenhouse. My gal say very detailed and clear explanation on the science concepts taught. Thumbs up!!!

do they do experiments, concept maps / mind mapping, followed by worksheets, inside the class ?
what's the max. class size ?

each session - is it 1.5 or 2 hours lesson ?

The kids do experiments in class to learn concepts, key words and answering techniques. Each session is 2 hours. The teachers are very passionate and dedicated and clear in explanations, like what kitty said.

for Science lessons 2 hrs per session at Just Education -

do children do experiments every week, or only on adhoc basis ?

do children do experiment individually, or do in groups work on projects (if any), or only the teacher do expt herself to demo to the whole class ?

at end of lesson, do teacher provide any list or highlight key Scientific terminlogy, to help kids remember better ?

nature of the lesson -
is it more pro towards Process skilled thinking type, or just MCQ ?
do they guide kids in answering technique for open ended Science qns ?

Hi, anyone tried Vitamindz Science at Katong? Would appreciate you could share your experience.


They said that their tutors are school teachers, hence lessons are only conducted on Fri, Sat and Sundays. They also run science programs for schools.

In the east, heard that RG Channel at eastgate is rather popular and good but my child have not tried it.


My ds in p5 this year tried Vitamindz Science earlier this year. I find the notes good & teachers very experienced but he asked for a change (partly due to timing as well).
Now he is in AceScorers, a small centre at Parkway Centre. He enjoys his class & is more motivated. I guess it is cos of the teacher.
