Some had bad experience as seen on Scoot's FB page.

Which airline don't have bad experience on their FB page?
Go see AirAsia, Jetstar, Tiger, even full-service airline like SilkAir, SIA, KLM, Air France etc all have their fair share of bad experience.

Don't have to be so defensive. Just sharing what others had said. Of course every airlines have their problems. But Scoot seems to be as \"good\" as Tiger in terms of customer service/response.

I flew scoot to Sydney with my 2.5 yes old. Bought a seat for him. And we also paid for extra legroom. It was a comfortable flight and I think it’s a good budget airline carrier. Food is not suitable for kids … Too salty but I’m sure they allow you to bring food for kids… We brought mcnuggets meal up for our kid and no one said anything. Brought along our own iPad and soon enough we are in Sydney already. Only problem is the flight out is a bit late so u gotta keep your kids up late but good thing is they are so tired they would just sleep. The flight back had some delays as usual but quite ok.

Officially not allowed la... but after travelling so many times on budget carriers, I think the air crews all get quite tired of telling passengers off.. and most will be glad to clear the rubbish (probably they dont want you to stuff it in the front seat pocket?)

Observed more and more paxs carrying their own food... but be discreet and dont bring your full BK or Macdonalds meal onboard. Sandwiches and kuehs should be fine. Remember dont bring water because you wont be allowed to go past the security.... if you want, you can bring empty bottle and fill it up inside the gate or on the aircraft.
