I'm going phuket next month too with my family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Will be staying at the 1 bedroom villa at Rising Sun Residence. Their 3 bedrooms villa comes with a private pool. Like the idea of having a personal driver for 9 hours daily. Check out their website.

Any recommendations for a good 4-star hotel at Patong area in Phuket for a couple without kids?

We just got back from Phuket. We stayed at Milliennium Hotel, phuket. It’s right next to a huge, rather new shopping centre, Jungcyelon, and a 10min walk to the beach. The hotel is rather nice and clean and right in the centre of Phuket.

Thanks for the review. I think Milliennium is around Patong area, and there seems quite a handful of good reviews about the hotel.

We also had a short trip to Phuket recently. We stayed at Karon Beach as we felt that Patong Beach is not that suitable for children.


One thing I must say about the tours that we booked in Phuket. They are quite punctual about their stated timing. Quite impressed.
