      WeiHan:
RV's performance in various science olympiad competitions is no longer as good as in the past few years.

This year only 4 students get into second round of Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad. This is a huge drop in performance compared to past years.
Personally, I have every confidence in the directives and teaching methodology of RVHS. Parents whom had kids currently pursuing a learning journey with RV, do rest assured all undertakings are in tune. For those whom are keen to take on RV's learning challenges, be prepared to put in your senses and continual effort. RV is unique in its class. I do not touch on just the numbers or rating, it's the x-factor with the style & class. Be realistic, be conscientious, be ready ... to take on the challenges ahead. 3 Cheers to RV, the past, the present, the future ... Cheers

These are the kind of thing that one will remember forever....you find that years later, it is not the test marks or grades that one remembers..

You can get it from the E-club shop at the canteen. Not sure of their holiday opening hours though.

I predict that RV’s COP this year will be 255 or even 256.

During P talk yesterday, Mr Koh mentioned RV COP will increase.
But consider 800 more IP places this year, it is unlikely

anything is possible with the current new approaches of the education arena. increase in supply do tried to equate the increase in needs.
whichever's the case, the end results or success depends heavily on the works rendered in the process and the value-add programmes that the students whom shall received with the respective learning institutions.

batch of number are just numbers ... in reality ... the tangibles

I know that a number is just a number and it is the value-added of the school that is more important. Maybe, overall school experience is what people consider also.

For the above, I am just playing a prediction game. I feel that the new IP schools are mostly in the east or central part of Singapore and it should not affect RV that much. Coupled with the fact that Rv has continued to produce stellar A level results. I think people are slowly getting convinced that it is not a one-trick pony.
