anything is possible with the current new approaches of the education arena. increase in supply do tried to equate the increase in needs.
whichever's the case, the end results or success depends heavily on the works rendered in the process and the value-add programmes that the students whom shall received with the respective learning institutions.

I know that a number is just a number and it is the value-added of the school that is more important. Maybe, overall school experience is what people consider also.

For the above, I am just playing a prediction game. I feel that the new IP schools are mostly in the east or central part of Singapore and it should not affect RV that much. Coupled with the fact that Rv has continued to produce stellar A level results. I think people are slowly getting convinced that it is not a one-trick pony.

I am newbie here and would like seek good advice & help from current RVHS students/parents.

Kindly would you recommend RVHS for my son who did not take HMT-Chinese for PSLE 2012? He got T-score 257 and an A for MT-Chinese but this is his weakest subject and we have understood that HCL is a compulsory core subject in year 1.

Any suggestion if he really cannot cope with HCL? What is minimum requirement to pass the HCL in year 1?

BTW appreciate you could also help on the information of RVHS IP subjects combinations for year one and how much different from the O levels–Express stream?
