Hi all HPPS parents, my son just got posted to HPPS GEP class. Anyone can give me feedback on the sch? I intend to send him to Sch. How's the traffic like? Where is the best plc to drop him? He is interested in tennis CCA. Does he have to go through a selection test? What is ECCA n what's the criteria to join? Finally, where n when to buy books n uniform.

The uniform store in the school is opened till this Sat, while the book store will be opened till next Sat, plus certain days in Dec.

School Uniforms - The sale of school uniforms by Bibi & Baba will be held at our school site (53 Mount
Sinai Road) on the dates stated below:
Saturday, 03 November 2012 (9.00 am to 12 noon)
Tuesday, 20 November 2012 to Friday, 23 November 2012 (9.00 am to 3.00 pm) Saturday, 24 November 2012 (9.00 am to 12 noon)
Alternatively, parents may choose to purchase the uniforms directly from Bibi & Baba retail store located at Far East Shopping Centre #02-28. Please call them at 6732-7022 if you need any clarification.
School Textbooks - Online order will be available when the 2013 school textbooks list is distributed to parents by mid-November 2012.
Parents are encouraged to purchase the school textbooks online via the Pacific Bookstores website (http://www.pacificbookstores.com)
Alternatively, parents may choose to purchase the books directly from the school bookshop on the following dates:

Thanks for the warm welcome and the info. I spoke with some boys I know who are currently studying in HPPS and they told me there are many bullies and fights among boys in HPPS. Is that true?

Yes. They will switch from C to I or I to C base on their result.

DD is attending P1 at Henry Park next year. To date, I have yet received any formal reply from the school bus operator - KAL T&T with regards to the arrangement for the new year. Am wondering if I have been missed out or other parents having the same experiences. Appreciate your sharing and any advice. Tried calling but nobody pick up.

You are not alone. We recd an SMS to contact the bus driver directly but all calls and SMS go unanswered. Called the numbers listed at HPPS website also no one answering the call. 3 more working days and the school will start. Don't understand why ask us to contact the driver and list the contact numbers on website but nobody is answering the calls. Really surprise with such service. Rather worry abt the service of this one and only bus operator we have to rely upon.
