        Hi

My son scored 250. Considering to place
        1, SJI IP
        2, Catholic high IP
        3, VS O
        4, Catholic high O
        5, SJI O
        6, Chung cheng high
High chance of hitting either 3,4,5. u need to consider very carefully. i would replace 6 with anderson sec. COP-245.

          Dear Parents and Students,

          Based on 2012 intake historical data;

There are in total 8 educational institutions which cater for students with a T-Score of minimum 250.

          Of which,
          3 institutions for Girls,
          2 institutions for Boys
          3 institutions for co-ed

approximately an annual intake of about 350 students per institution.

In 2013, 3 more institutions (IP) are added to the current above co-hort, primarily to ease-off the load (my personal purview in this subject matter)

Hope this would enlighten you guys n gals in your S1 selection for FY2013 new semester.

My peers used to say \"if your T-Score is good, you'll get to choose the seat, else the seats chooses you\"

Your learning journey had just begun, do not fret if the start is not to your ideal, just persevere and put in your best works.

          Hi,

          Based on your info,

11 schools offering IP in year 2013 would mean approx 3850 IP seat.
This is equivalent to an estimated 8% of PSLE students getting an IP seat (based on 48,000 cohort size)? Is this estimation correct? Or need I factor in DSA, etc.?

          Thanks.

            Hi all,

I am going into Secondary school next year and would like to ask you about the third language program for Malay and the CSP program.
I am not good at languages , may I know if it is easy for me to pick up Malay and join the CSP program? Thanks in advance.

VS O likely to be 250
SJI O likely to be 245
              CCH likely to be 338

If you did not get into SJI IP, then you will end up in VS O, CH O or SJI O

                Hi,

My girl's score is 236, is she eligible for St Nic?

The school has 2 codes stating \"O\" level and IP.

Does it mean that she can iapply for \"O\" level?

                Please help.
                Thanks.

Yes, She can just apply for St Nick O level track. However, the COP is 249 & her chance of getting in is very low. You can put CHIJ Sec Toa Payoh as 1st choice instead of St Nick. It's COP is lower, 241. Also can choose CHIJ St Theresa Convent, COP 224. Make sure that you last 2 choices is lower than 236.

                You may want consider TKGS.

                  I select the following:
                  1, RI
                  2, HCI
                  3, NJC

                  Is it reasonable?

Third language is optional. You must have interest & able to cope with an additional subject. If you think that you are not good at languages, you have an option of giving it a try or not to opt for it.

No. There are 18 institutions offering IP.

                      CHS
                      SNGS
                      SCGS
                      DHS
                      NYGH
                      HCI
                      NJC
                      RGS
                      RI
                      RVH
                      TJC
                      VS
                      CGSS
                      VJC
                      ACSI
                      MGS
                      SJI
                      NUSH
                      Plus SOTA

Not sure how many IP seats this translates into, but I expect at least 3000-4000?

Yes. He should be able to get into his first choice.
