Over all, its results are very impressive. However the number of GEP have to separate from mainstream, as few schools offer GEP.
Do you mean zero for 2012? I think it's not likely to be zero all these years because there are foundation students (even if the number is low).bupashu:

That's an interesting way to look at it but I've never felt this way about the school - wants to prove their might or top the list. How i feel about the school is that it wants to leverage on the children's abilities and maximize their potential rather. It wants to help open as many windows as possible for the children.Just to add about the spotlight on NYPS.

How to know if my DD is eligiable to take Higher Chinese in Secondary 1 ? Is there anyone who received letter from MOE confirming such eligibility ?

If I'm not wrong as long as your T score >245 you are eligible. But not 100% sure. -

Its stated in the letter that comes with the result. -
1. Top 10% T-score in psle, or
2. A* in CL or at least merit in HMT -
I have checked and none of the student got such letter. DD is the top 10% with A* in Chinese and Merit in Higher Chinese. I am puzzled ?
