:gloomy: :gloomy:   😢 😢

This shouldn't happen to anyone..... drivers should really learn to be more patient. Drivers here are always in some form of rush....

being late is better than taking a life or giving up your life.....

i dun understand why all drivers dun stop and just zoom across the Stop line and dun stop to let me cross first. why are they so impatient and dun observe the traffic law? sometimes i hope i can snap their car plate no and report to TP… some drivers have totally forgotten they are once new drivers b4 too.

I can’t bring myself to see the photos after having looked at one. Why on earth do pp want to take photos of the dead & circulate online??? It’s sick IMO. How will the family & friends feel? This is the ill of the cyber world. No responsibility, no shame.

              I can feel the mother’s pain…very sad.

I cannot understand why people take pic of the dead and upload Internet...don't they have any compassion? Are they cold hearted or what? The last time I read was this family friend who took a pic of recently deceased Ah Nan and upload on internet...it pissed me when she was asked to take it down but she retorted with a ridiculous reason. These 2 young boys died tragically. Any mother would go berserk to see this happening.

I didn't see the photo but reading some of the published commentary like one of the boys struggled to stand up before collapsing and he didn't move after that made me :gloomy:

At 13 and 7, they must be Sec 1/2 and P1/2... Thinking about it just make me sad.

I am going to show the news to my children tonight to re-emphasize road safety to them.

While drivers need to be careful, I also observed that cyclists can be very reckless as well especially at zebra crossing. They take it for granted the cars will stop. But sometimes, they cycle so fast that the car might not see them in the first place and thereby stop in time.

I went to bed with a heavy heart after hearing about this news. Today, my heart is still just as heavy. I decided to pick my son up after school instead of him walking to the mrt station himself just because I wanted to spend more time with him. It’s heartbreaking and I wouldn’t be able to stay strong if I were the mother…

Yes, we have to keep reminding ourselves and our kids the importance of road safety.

For their own safety , cyclists should dismount while crossing at pedestrian crossing.

This whole incident is so sad

Mr Baey Yam Keng, an MP for Tampines GRC.

He told The Straits Times at the accident site Tuesday morning: \"Think the elder brother was fetching the younger brother home after CCA. Apparently that was his first day at CCA at wushu.\"
