Hi-5? :rotflmao:
Mebbe i should stay away from this thread. :nailbite: -
I watched this Channel 8 show on Sat evening, yesterday. The mum was pregnant with her 6th child. She seems so capable and runs her household like a mini Childcare centre. If this mother reads this thread, perhaps she can share more.

Am not sure how life will become by having more kids with the kind of environment that we've in Spore. Can you share more with me by having more living in 5 rooms flat? Do you ladies really encourage to have big family? If given a chance, will you stop at 1 or 2 ??
I've a mix feeling right now... not sure how our life going to change by having no.3.... but god gift and I'm almost 40...

My children will help me do housework. My youngest boy can eat by himself at 26mths in fact he start to around 24mths.
My eldest once awhile will help me to teach her sibling hm work. I stay 5 room but only got 3 rooms kind. They love to squeeze together to sleep maybe due to young age. Now expecting my 5th, my children will take turn everyday to talk to my tummy. Telling my baby: greet, their position at hm, they love him, they want to share toys with him, want to kiss and hug him. -

I'd advise you not to have more than 2. Why stress yourself? I have 4 and one when I was past 40. It's not a good life lah. Some more my house so crowded and messy bc of the 90+yo \"boss\" staying with us.Am not sure how life will become by having more kids with the kind of environment that we've in Spore. Help , advise needed,
I am due in 4 wks time for the 3rd child… stuck at the cross rd… I am FTWM but after my 2nd BB solely looked after by the maid , she is not really properly taken care of ( i feel in a way, hard to explain…always left in the playpan by herself for long hours.always chatting with my MIL maid coz we stayed the same house , end up i have to put her in childcare to intereact with other kids)…
Worst i din even know until my new maid told me , the ex maid say i wan her to put the baby in the playpan always.( WTF)
kids now going 4,2 and 1 coming soon ( 4 wks) , really thinking should i keep my FT job or going PT and should i keep , the new maid to help me with the cleaning and daily chores so able to forcus on the kids n not the chores…
Stress…
Anyone with experience , able to advise on this… -

Hi
I didn’t realize so many people have so many children as I do too. I have 4 so I am very careful about budget, food and shelter most important! The rest will come later… They go to school, never had tuition but results are dropping and managing 4 is a huge task for a super multi-tasker, I hope I can manage them better. Sigh, it’s school, school, school, results, results, so I had no choice, I thought perhaps later in the years but now p3 have to for tuition already! But luckily, I found a good one who can HELP otherwise waste money trying!!!
Still, we want to plan for travelling, poor kids, seldom travel always stuck in the 4 corners! Any place to recommend or do for a family trip? Never mind, never give up! They are our happiness! Keep smiling everyone! -
BT1983: I suddenly stumbled upon this thread… I understand what you mean. I am in a similar crossroad now - I have 2 and another one due soon, also an FTWM. And my second one was left with the maid most of the time too - and he is often neglected, otherwise spoilt, and it shows a lot in his personality and development. Luckily, he started going to playgroup at about 2yrs old, and now he is in full-day nursery. The difference is stark!
My eldest one will be starting P1 next year. My plan is to make some adjustments at work, to either work from 7:30am to 4:30pm, or find a part time job. Of course, I know there will be a big cut in terms of $$ for the latter… but to me, since I have chosen to have the children (so many!) they are my responsibility. I do not want to have another "maid’s baby"… It is not easy, and I intend to use my maternity leave to do job hunting! In fact, I have started letting out hints that I will be looking for new job/portfolio/workhours in 2014. … Good luck!
