if you do use seaweeds, do you use the kind that some kids like to munch for snack?
Or is there a special type of seaweed for cooking?

Cold Storage also has on offer beef tenderloin.

                  Thinking of:

                  Udon with beef strips
                  Stirfry Xiao bai cai
                  steam fish
                  boiled quail eggs

                  fridge clears out :rahrah:

A super simple chicken salad recipe

                    http://www.recipe.com/chinese-chicken-salad/?sssdmh=dm17.667374&esrc=nwdr050213

The Taiwan noodles shop @ Bt Timah Plaza has a side dish - cabbage salad that I suspect is done in the same way - using vinegar+soya sauce - which is very appetising.

haiz.....needed the cheese to try 'Baked cheesy cauliflower'.

when you make this, pls post pic and comment on the taste. This is a dish I would like to try though the children are not fans of cauliflower

                        :thankyou: first, ok šŸ˜„

                        ok, here you go Jennifer

                        1. i baked it
                        2. can't post pix , dono why use tinypic cannot, copy from photobucket also cannot
                        3. taste : Bland (nohing to do with the recipe, it's bcos i å·å·„å‡ę–™ . It says add milk or stock, but i hv neither so i use plain water. It aso says add salt /pepper, but i tot already add cheese and butter who needs salt? so i aso omitted that. just added pepper and thyme.

                        Verdict: http://www.sherv.net/emoticons.html

you can imagine , my version is just boiled cauliflower, coated with some butter, topped with shredded cheese, pepper, thyme and baked. Maybe if i am more generous with all the ingredients it may taste nice? :scratchhead:

anyway, like one of the recipes suggested ,if you are ok with Heinz soup, you can save all trouble and empty a can into the dish of boiled cauliflower ,topped it with cheese and baked.
Will be very flavourful, i think.
