        3boys,
I must learn from your wife how to have hubby wrapped around my pinky.

You already know how, just take yourself back to the period before you were married, didn’t you have him eating out of your hands?

Sorry lah, I wasn’t successful making him eat out of my hands.

That time, no kids and not staying together.

aiya, you all should learn from my daugther. She’s so good in having me in her pocket, that my wife openly complains about it - that I have double-standard, that she can do no wrong, and that daddy will do anything for her, and so on . . . .

but then, it’s known that daughters have a special place in daddies’s heart, right ?

Spouse first, kids second. Trust me, much better for the family.....

The foundation of a strong family is the relationship between husband and wife. That needs an investment of time and effort. As for the kids, there will never be enough time to do everything you need to do for them. Sometimes clothes will have to be left undried, homework undone, lunch boxes unfilled. Too bad, the brats will live, but if you don't dedicate time to the DW/DH, the relationship won't.

Kids should come second…unfortunately, a lot of times when the kids arrive, the spouse becomes second. Then when they grow up and leave the nest, spouses lose touch with one another.

Now that I don’t have any maids, there is less stress as compared to the time when there was one. Husband and wife must work together and build a strong relationship for the children to grow up happy and healthy.

3boys... have always looked up to your words of wisdom. :salute:
It is nice to have a man's perspective of things. :celebrate: So that,
we (women) can learn... to get you guys eat out of our hands. Ahakz!

                    Niwaes, 2 quick questions.

Have you never had disputes/misunderstandings with your spouse at all?

Has it always been your (hers and yours 😉) mantra on the spouse 1st thingy? Psst... i'm working on this mantra since the past year & yes
 it does seem to be working nicely.. .. needs more work but
i like how things are now. Plus staying on our own was the best decision
EVER.. should've done it sooner.. but then, i suppose things happen for
                    a reason ba..

I agree with the last part, the brats will live. Hahahaa! :rotflmao:
But only diff is, my brats are roped in to get all the jobs done.

                      Hi buds,

There will always be brats…hahaha but as they grow, I will make them do housework like washing bowls and helping with cleaning/tidying up. Then my son will help out with housework when he gets married in future…cannot repeat the mistake his paternal grandmother made with her precious sons.
