patntee:
Hi curious how if there are twins and one of their names is picked during the ballot? Do they take up 2 places on the spot and make known to all the parents at the balloting?
Yes, when one of the twins is selected, the other automatically gets in. In this case, 2 slots are taken so one less ticket will be drawn. The parents present for the balloting will be made aware of this. -
wonder will the so called popular schools consider having franchise
actually will it work if schools that are very popular work with MOE to build more schools eg RGPS why must it be restricted to benefit those who live in bt timah? Why must there be only 1 RGPS in spore? Can they school replicate itself? just wondering ... :scratchhead: -
RRMummy:
That will sure add on to the frustration of those whose name haven't been called!patntee:

preferrably the tix will be the last one to be drawn... in that case no one will be deprived of a seat and i suppose the school will have to add an extra vacancy :rahrah:

There's no two ways around it... the school has to show accountability.. -

yeah that will be good. Better still the school straight away add a vacancy. The multiple births already have better chance at the ballot than the singletons.g2m6:

The multiple births will not have better chance during balloting because they get the same 2 slips (or 1 for PR) but put all their names on that slip.
Meaning for Singaporean twins, they still get just 2 slips, not 4. -
then so long as one of the tix is drawn, the other one has to be taken out as well ?
