but my friend’s P4 GEP son in Henry park teacher said can’t bring home Science tests worksheets. -

The age difference is 4yrs, so the younger 1 will only register for P1 when the older 1 is in P4. What if the younger 1 doesn't qualify for GEP in the future? The \"stigma\"?TwaTau:
If the kid were to transfer sch bcos of GEP, can the younger siblings still hv priority during P1 registration for the original sch in Phases 2A2?
The timing of the the release of the GEP results is sometime after the P1 registration. The younger will have already got their places in the original school by then. If the younger one only goes to P1 after the older got transfer out, then maybe you should consider the GEP school for the younger one.
Also v :stupid: bcos original sch is a good 1 <10min walk away & the nearest GEP is 20min drive away if no jam.
Your younger child is lucky to get into a GEP school. Many parents are trying to be volunteer or stay within 1 Km to increase their chance to get
Into these schools. Your younger child will be able to see his schoolmates regardless he is in GEP or mainstream. Anyway, your younger child should also qualify for phase 2A for the original school that is near your place. The choice is yours. -

Does the school return all the class worksheets and test papers before exam?
Just wondering how to revise for exam if nothing is returned... -

Is it just me or is there an unusual concentration of GEP schools in the Bukit Timah, Holland, Clementi corridor? I count 5 out of 9 GEP schools - RGS, NYPS, ACSP, NHPS and HPPS within a 4km radius.

criteria for becoming a GEP school is not based on distance - dispersion
