De La Salle

To me since Mandarin is not used at home, it will be good if I could force myself to converse or communicate more to her and read more Chinese stories togather. By mid of next year if she can’t cope then engage a tuitor or attend enrichment class will need to be considered.

hi,
currently staying in teck whye & planning to move to yew tee in preparation for my boy to be in P1 in 2013 hehe… =P
i did hear some negative reviews about the school but decided to better ‘park’ myself here & get 1st hand info from parents whose kids are already attending school there -
If I’m not mistaken, De La Salle is a creative arts school, or am I confusing that with La Salle???

yes! when the upgrading is completed in 2013, hopefully my boy will be in the new upgraded school in P1 =D
the reason i chose this school is cos i am staying in cck & its a catholic school.
the negativities that i've heard is that a student threaten to kill/attack a teacher with a penknife & that the teachers turnover rate is extremely high. anyone care to comment on this? -
Dear happyfeet11:
My boy is in P2 next year and my girl will be in P1 in 2013 at the new premise, hope to see your kid in DLS also. -

Yes the teacher turnover is high when my DS was p2 last year ,but this year is fine . I believe it will be better for upper primary due to PSLE preparation .
I never heard anything about the emotional unstable student .
my DS is former lasalian for lower primary ( p1 to p3 ) , school life was relax & enjoyable. -
