If you receive the letter inviting your kid to join the twinning system, take it. -

I agree. TAG class has its advantages such as smaller class size -25, better and nicer teachers according to my son. He does not want to go to mainstream class now cos he's really enjoying himself in TAG classPersonally I find that twinning really helped my DS2 in his development , not only in school work.
He is learning a lot of history , geography, general knowledge in social studies, picking up computer skill in CEP lesson etc.
It's the best of both world. You do mainstream math, science and English, probably at a more advance level compared to the rest of the classes, but take same exams in these subjects.
The they join and take same CL/HCL as the GEP kids.
They take the GE social studies exam too even though it's not graded. -

Yup I agreed fully.

My DS is enjoying himself in TAG.
He would have suffered in GEP had he qualified . -
Now thinking
1)should I go for Qifa since I am the ex student there.
2)Do PV at Nan Hua since MIL within 2km
3)Do PV at BPPS since mum within 1km.
Please give me your advise. -

2. NHPS is balloting within 1km in P2B this year and their selection i quite tough.
3. BPPS is balloting within 2km in P2B for this year also. They accept all the PV. If u use ur mum address, it will be within 2km not 1km ( as caregiver )
4. U may want to enrol ur child to Qifa in P2A2 1st then monitor NHPS and BPPS if u apply as PV.
Ur child born in which year? -

The kids have TAG and form classes. They are mixed into G,J,K 3 classes for Chinese, research work , Music, Art, PE etc.

They are broken up into TAG 1 (twinning), TAG 2 and TAG 3 (GEP) for English, Math, Science. -

So am I right to say those in GEP will be in TAG 2 (Class J) & TAG 3 (Class K) ? Twinning is TAG 1 (Class G) ? How about those taking HCL ? They will be split into CL & HCL even though if they are from the same class, eg. TAG 3 (Class K), some will go to join other classes when they are having HCL ? My DS ex-school does that.
