overall pretty different env when i compared my alma mater with MCS.
You will know if you are able to compare school communications and what is discussed during Parent Teacher Engagement Session.

        - I get updates after each term on all the subjects, including PE, music & art too. Parents are informed what have been taught and highlight what to take note during revision.

        - Most cute communication would be Chinese Spelling list. English translation was provided in case parent can’t read hypy or the chinese characters.
        - So overall i find my gal’s teachers put in a lot of effort in terms of communication

One of the reasons for the EL translation is due to a sizable group of foreigners, esp. Pinoy, taking CL. Their parents may not be able to under HYPY and definitely not Chinese characters.

For those who have child(ren) at Marymount Convent student care, can you advise if the tutors good in helping the girls with their homework? Or is it still necessary to get tuition to cope? Hope to get some insights. Thanks!

Yes…the teachers do help with the homework but apart from that, the girls may not have much time for revision as its up to them to do so as well. Whether or not additional tuition is required really does depend on the child herself. Some are able to be self reliant while others do need extra help. Further, the girls will have the CCA as well and that will take up time from doing their homework and revision in student care.

Overall, the food is fine and the girls are usually hungry by the time they finish school and also have to quickly finish their lunch to go to CCA thereafter. Think their school fees is about $290/month but during school holidays there would be additional charges.
