It is still better to be honest. She is your friend and a true friend will do things in good conscience. Telling her what you saw about her husband is not gossiping, instead it is an action of care.

Just take vitamin C. You can increase your dosage and it is still safe.

RE: Getting exhausted in this pandemic time :(

Yeah I guess and it is really tiring thinking things especially Covid related. But you are right, to find light at the end of the day and to look at the things that we are grateful for. I am doing but sometimes, emotions overcome and I feel anxious again.
Hello KBrosas. So much is going on this year, we are exhausted, we feel tired.. it's normal to feel that way. I always find the light at the end of the day, knowing we are alive, healthy, and complete. Try to look at the things you are grateful for..
I find this article in the net while I am reading about anxiety and depression - https://med.stanford.edu/psychiatry/about/covid19/anx.html. And it is helpful too, and I thought I might share it too - like what you've said to be thankful that we are alive, healthy and complete. Thanks man! -
RE: Getting exhausted in this pandemic time :(
Hey guys,
How is everyone? I don't know if this is the right forum area that I could share this here - I just wanted to breath a little.
I hope all is going well with you guys. I, myself don't feel good at the moment. I think I begin to get exhausted - working full time as a single mom, assisting my kid to his homeschooling, and doing household chores. I am tired
I begin to ruminate things especially with this Covid19 isolation and restrictions going on. The feeling of being unsafe, getting infected, and the like. I know you also feel this way. It is so much stressful.
How are you dealing with all of this? -
RE: How much household income is enough?
cherrygal\" post_id=\"729671\" time=\"1331805579\" user_id=\"9754:
I agree. Sufficient depends on the lifestyle you have and how much adjustment the family is willing to do. All I know is that for emergency needs, you have to save at least 3 to 6 months worth of expenses. But in totality, it really depends how much you earn, how much are your regular expenses and your lifestlye.
Yup, it's what your current lifestyle is and what changes you are willing to make. Frankly, $5K a month is not very much esp if you have more than 1 kid who needs to attend enrichment etc. I am assuming you guys are financing a flat so it will be tight if you also need a car. Possible but not much savings left.
Some pple can take bus everyday and be satisfied while some must buy continental cars... it all depends on your lifestyle really. \"Sufficient or not\" is very subjective.
Your decision to quit also depends on how much $$ you actually make. If your contribution is >50% of the total household income ie. around what your other half makes, then it is very significant. If you only make less than half of what your hubby makes, then maybe it's ok to stay home. -
RE: How to help my kids to develop a good hobby ?
My son enjoys everything about nature - insects, plants, animals…and also something that is new to him. So I just let him explore and I am happy to see how he is fascinated with things. He has so many questions (a few times I am irritated hahaha - my bad). We should learn things from our kids, and not only us teaching them.

RE: Should children be taught to be independent?
Yes we need to let them learn to be responsible at an early age. Nowadays, it is a challenge for us parents since we live in an era where comfort is everywhere due to technology. A total shift of yesterday’s era.
As for me, I let my kid do some housechores and we have a daily home arrangement. He washes the dishes at night, he folds our clothes after it is dried from laundry, I let him help me do the grocery list, I let him do a few basic cooking. And chores will add up as he grows.
In this way he will know the importance of being part of a family and will nurture him to be a good man of house in the future. -
RE: All About Robotics Courses
Hi parents,
Just wanted to ask for your thoughts and opinions, if WhiteHat Jr. a good online coding platform? My kid avail of the free session prior to enrolling - it went fine and he enjoyed. But before continuing the program, I wanted to know legit reviews.
Or any good recommendation, if any?
Thanks in advance. -
RE: Addiction to computer games
I have observed that my kid is spending more hours in playing online games. I am afraid that he is starting to get addicted to it. What I did, I made him answer worksheets that involved electronic games and doing things that define being responsible versus recreation. After which we discussed it. Then I told him that his screen time is only 4 to 5 hours a day. I will reward him with additional hour/s if he gains a badge of good work. Fortunately, I saw improvement. I also give him interesting activities that he is inclined with just to get him away from using his gadget.
