      ElmoWorld:
      Hi just rec'd son's P1 report book.

Anyone knows how the teacher tabulate the marks?
What is the weightage for CA and SA?
What is the weightage for Show & Tell, Compo writing, Mini Test, Reading, etc.
      Are Spelling counted as well?
      From what I know:

      CA1 - 10%
      SA1 - 20%
      CA2 - 20%
      SA2 - 50%

Dun think Show & Tell, Writing, MiniTest, Reading and Spelling are included in the weightage for P1.

But the question here is Mangai lives in Punngol, a different GRC from Rosyth. Does it qualify him/her priority to register in Rosyth under the grassroots route?

The school will move during the Dec holidays such that the new school term for Jan 2012 will start at the temporary premise.

      Hi parents,

My son will be in P2 when school re-open next year. My question: What do we need to bring on the first day of school for P2? Everything or the bare minimal (i.e. pencil case, student handbook)?

      thanks!

      Pen88n:
[From P3 onwards, they rank the kids for that level. 1st in level will go Integrity, 2nd go Adventurous, 3rd go Integrity, 4th go Adventurous etc. till they finish with top 80. Then they place the next 80 in Meticulous and Respectful accordingly. It is not \"random\" allocation, but the top 2 classes are of equal standard in that sense.

Out of curiousity, does it mean that every year from P3, the children will be ranked yr on yr and re-shuffle based on that yr's result?

      doraemon:
Hi all, how's your children's first lesson at Kinderart? My son's class did a decoration of the black journal book. He told me he prefers this class over his previous private art class. Just that the parking in Nafa is expensive as it goes by $1.07 per hour or part thereof. So I paid like $4 plus last weekend.

      Hi doreamon,

So which day/timeslot is your child in? Mine is at Sunday 11am. Have you figure out where is the cheapest nearby place to park on weekend?
