I did a google search on Conceptual Physics. Is the author Paul G. Hewitt ?

      Amazon has good reviews.
Yes, I think its Hewitt's book, but cannot confirm since there are a few other \"conceptual Physics\":

A few weeks ago, the teacher also asked for response to buy a geography textbook, now no more news. So no one getting it?

Is this physics textbook a self read reference? Or the teacher will refer to it regularly? How much eh?
I think its \"Conceptual Physics\", dont know who's the author. The teacher says it is only available in the US, so seems a good book

if need to go back to school next week during hols and he said maybe need (for cca, maybe ... i dunno), and said like have some project also but details not given yet. :x

My boy said the class/classes are to do a IH- geography project that needs the students to go to Orchard Rd to do surveys. His class hv tentatively decided on Monday. I am too tired to hear details, so told him to tell me tmr.

Btw, there is a recommendation Physics textbook costing $50+. Asked me want to buy or not. Aiyo, like I am the one studying šŸ˜› Asked him the title so maybe I can find 2nd hand copy, he can tell me he does not know the title
      :x

Btw, we always said the general office lady sometimes not friendly right? Today I got a call from the sch. No news is good news right? It turned out my boy had misplaced his wallet for the 3rd time. The aunt was all smiley and cheerful when she told me this. Hm, pleasant looking kids sure kena preferential treatment.

The physics text book seems to be good, and can help to understand concepts, my son said no one is buying it or think no value in buying the book, what is the consensus? Anyone for it

      Anyone subscribe Times?

The special offer for NJC IP students ends 28 Feb 2010.

I went to Emit Asia office @ North Bridge Rd this morning to complete the subscription. Saw many stacks of Times mag worksheets on the floor, some addressed to HCI, some NUSH (218 copies for students, 30 copies for teachers) and some Marsiling Sec Sch.

Anyone know if Times is a compulsory reference material in some sec schools?

I think HCI students have it and they use these in their daily works. so its good.

I must complain about the Polo T- My boy bou the size XS, did not check, brou it home, we found the word \"National\" spelt \"Nationa\" :x What's this

Then the house T-shirt does not hv XS size.

      AIYO

Maybe XS too small so cannot put in all the letters, so only NATIONA šŸ˜„

That goes the same for the KM site, also the \"achiever\" page shows that \"page not found\" and error, Maybe NJC has no achievement!! so they purposely create an error page on the KM site, what a Joke!
