Good idea for the above, someone should suggest it during parliament before elections. Then those schools with low enrollment will not face the risk of being closed down.
Actually all schools r the same, in popular schools u have good n bad teachers or Ps, in neighbourhood schools u also have good or bad teachers n Ps. Depends on luck who teach the children. It is all about the brand name of the school.

RE: 2015 P1 Registration Exercise for 2016 In-Take
Hi lele2,
Since u have 2B priority and is within 1km from nanhua, why not take the bet.Tat least u try better not not trying n give up. Have a backup plan , e.g. if 2B at Nan hua not successful, try 2C clementi, which is only a distance away, should b also within 1km. Should b safe. Then a last plan, 2CS at pei tong if earlier plans failed, which is not likely, as u r within 1km from Nan hua and clementi. -
RE: Opinions of the Primary School Registration System
Actually it will be good if during this p1 registration period, the papers/media report or post pictures of our MPs registering at neighbourhood schools for their children, instead of at popular/branded schools.
This will surely convinced us parents that hey… they r setting an example to the public that ‘every sch is a gd sch’. Secondly, it will boost the positive image of these MPs that the public is assured n see the sincerely of their MPs that they r not status consciousness. Lastly this action will b an edge during elections polling.
But realistically, how many MPs will gamble with their children’s future n do the above? If any MPs did it, then really he/she really gains our respect. Just some ramblings, sorry if I offended any MPs here. -
RE: 2015 P1 Registration Exercise for 2016 In-Take
Dun worry, as most alumni will not place this sch as a first choice if they have other preferences… I’m one
people staying in this neighbourhood are mostly aiming for Nan hua or clementi. Trust me 2C, u sure get in, have a gd sleep. -
RE: 2015 P1 Registration Exercise for 2016 In-Take

Based on historical records, PT is the least popular sch in clementi area. 2C should not have a problem getting in.
