    家教或教学是不是销售profession.Teachers的价值随着时间的推移和生长的传播是通过顾客的学生和家长。

slmkhoo:I believe that every stage of development it's uniqueness. For preschoolers, because they haven't as much self-control and self-discipline as older kids, learning through play and fun is more effective in the long run as it builds a desire to learn. Once they get to school age, there needs to be a transition to a mixture of fun-based and some drill-based learning, and I guess by the mid-teens, the fun components may be minimal. As long as you bear in mind the need to transition when appropriate, don't deny your child the fun when he is young.Well said! :rahrah: this is insightful words, never come across to me..

Mdm Koh:I guess the tutor felt aggrieved? I worked with this agency a couple of years back and its conduct was very unprofessional. Although the owner of the agency paid me eventually, the experience was unpleasant and I never took another assignment from him again. Has anyone had a positive experience with this agency?I can feel his anger and frustration in his post. Unethical businesses are everywhere, and this largely unregulated industry has no watchdog to keep it ethical. From your experience, I find it really amazing that a business has been operating a few years back, have yet to change their unethical conduct, and still be in business. Are we Singaporeans suckers or what?

Oh… This sounds interesting… British Council (depends on individual’s learning style), I particularly like and love them. I have heard of learning lab but no personal experience with them. As for private tutors, I was recommended to one since I entered into a channel and people were talking about it so I gave it a shot. Thank God, I took my gamble and had a strike, as good as they said. It’s about trial and error and sometimes, it’s really about having a chance to meet a genuinely passionate teacher to uplifts and help. Cheers!
