Don't be disheartened. 2 years ago, My friend's DD was balloted out in Phase 2b, Fairfield Primary school. They received a call from the school on Christmas eve, telling her the school is giving her dd a christmas present which was a seat in P1, someone withdrew.

If Fairfield means so much to u, keep lobbying the Principal in a persistent but friendly manner at every oppty..at sch fairs, open hse, at church if he/she goes, send Xmas gift, make small donations and never fail to remind Principal...every year till P3 if nec (kids trsfr out to GEP schs)

There is a section in the Bible about a persistent person seeking justice from the Roman authority..who finally sees to the case because he does not want to be worn out by that person's coming. All the best.

They can exercise their option to withdraw at earlier phase BUT the system should place them at P2CS. Penalize this group of parent who abuse the system.

I was introduced to this site many years ago but only started to be active recently when I need to look for ballet school and register my DD to Primary school. A lot of information can be found here. Hearing from some experience parents advise and making my own judgement.
