How to check no of pax in waitlist?

need to call up the school you interested to transfer, to inquire.
      example:
you can call up Fairfield Methodist & ask - how many people on waitlist now ?

Don't think they will tell. I guess they will say not finalized yet, still processing, call back end of year tc. Sometime I find the sch admin not helpful at all. Ask them something but they sound impatient to answer. I kana few times during reg and ballot time. Quite pissed.[/quote]I get what you mean. Some school admin yaya like Papaya whereas some school admin are so helpful and polite. I will praise Marymount Convent School admin, Belinda, for her outstanding work performance as an admin to communicate with me during the Pri 1 registration this year. No other schools' admin can beat her to it. She is polite and patient to answer queries.

U call 1 sch admin but that 1 admin might have to answer to hundreds of calls daily asking the same qtns, if u were her, u won't get frustrated?

If we can find from their website, u think we are so free to call to ask meh? If they want to avoid such situation whereby everybody calls n ask same question, might as well save the trouble just put all necessary info on the sch website? My thinking la no offense.

I exactly know what you mean. Ngee Ann admin and Ngee Ann PSG should be commended for replying to every query patiently and remarkably well being very polite at the same time. Kudos to them!

Has anyone encounter sch that accepts waitlist only at a later date in sep? I was told they r still processing those who were balloted out in this intake. All other waitlist will have to hold on till sep for next yr admission.

Actually you can just submit waitlist now, so long as your child had already enrolled into a school. Because i heard that school will not process until wait entire p1 registration end, by August. Then from September onwards, they will start look at - who are those on the waitlist?

                Thanks phtthp,

Do you advise going down personally? Or just call them? Don't know if sincerity will earn points.... hahaha! Will need to advise my friend cos she's eyeing a number of gals' schools and want to put on their waitlist...

I called them and they seem not keen to process my application for waitlist. Have to go down personally?

Afraid waitlist is one of those things that is better to get personally involved (ie. get on the sch admin or principal's tail) to ensure they are really looking at your case n haven't thrown your application form in the bottom drawer, like what happened to my PV form at one sch.

When sch starts, i suppose it would be fair to learn n evaluate your current sch to see if a transfer to your dream sch is still worthwhile? Of course, if the sch is bad, seek the transfer at all costs..

Registered at Phase 3 !! Cant believe 200 percent more of seats registered that too only in the morning.

Similar scenario at TNPS, AMK primary, Griffiths primary schools.
                        Pray for tomorrow now :nailbite:
