hi dolphinsiah
Good Afternoon Stressy,
Does the school allow the Y5 to sit for one H1 paper -A Level exam?
Meaning Y5 sit for one H1 paper ...so Y6 can lessen their burden???
i dun think so for H1 paper, mostly taking H2. -
daisyt:
probably on her own bcos magazine sent to my residence i/o school
hi stressy, you mean the school would ask them to subscribe or you subscibe on your own?
Is this the one?

They have two magazines,
PresentPerfect is recommended for 13 to 16 year olds, while BroaderPerspectives is recommended for 17 to 21 year olds.
got to check with her. -
daisyt:
thght he is from year 5 not year 6.
Yes, its tough! I heard from dd about the principal's \"challenging\" speech for the year 6 students and the \"back challenge\" speech from one of the year 6 representatives, up on the stage.dolphinsiah:
:!: OMG Seem that Y5 & Y6 is going to be a tough ride...
Furthermore I think this year RV Y6 is the first batch doing the A Levels through IP program...the whole school is putting a lot of effort to ensure this first batch of Y6 attains good grades

thght he is from year 5 not year 6.[/quote]Wait, I am confused. This year 2010 is the first batch of RV taking \"A\" level right? If yes, that means he is year 6 this year. :?

If you are aiming for straight As like 8 or 9 As, then GP is probably the greatest stumbling block for most students. In order to do well in GP, the linguistic ability need to be built up as early as possible (year 1, 2). There should then be a keen interest in current affairs, social issues etcβ¦the students must be keen to discuss them among themselves and then the read broadly part which is easy nowaday because you can google everything from the internet easily.
