I think insiders and outsiders have commented quite a lot already. I'm sure affected parents would have touched base with one another by now
NEW IP JC:
Dear Parents of CHS, SCGS, SNGS,
We are a group of CHS, SCGS and SNGS parents, frustrated by the latest MOE decision of the new IP JC location. The decision is irrational, irresponsible and lack of transparency. MOE owe us an answer.
If you have the same feeling, please join our group. Send your email to [email protected], we will contact you via email. Let's group together to seek MOE explanation.
We hope to receive email from CHS, SNGS and SCGS parents only. Thanks.
Rgds,
Administrator of the Group, HS
Let them go have their PM/WA chats, prepare their \"bullets\", and trash it out with MOE on 25 May
I've some burning questions regarding the 12 May MOE letter, but I trust that 当局者 who don't welcome any more comments will be wise enough to ask the same questions on 25 May...hehehe... :siam: -

Dreamgear, I don't understand your comment.Ikid:
To all parents, May The Force Be With You!
“Do. Or do not. There is no try.”
I sincerely wish all affected parents the best, wish them find the best solution to their problem, no hidden agenda here.
I admire their courage to ask if in doubt, hope there's no misunderstanding. -

No matter how you perceive the different style of comments made here, the contribution of the participants have undeniably uncovered, discovered and clarified quite a lot of information and some of which can and will be used as 'bullets' when the so-called 'affected' parents go meet and deal with their Yoda or Darth Vader at MOE. I think some affected parents should have benefited from the balanced discussion here and have more points to consider to make a more informed decision and conclusion about the situation and what options are open to them. They may also have learnt others' viewpoints, concerns and wants.
I think: even if those kids from cat high, st nicks and scgs are not from ri and rgs, they are also not 省油的灯. I don't think their parents need others to show them the bigger picture. MOE would have painted it for them in the remote event that they couldn't see.25HMOM:
I see your point but do the affected parents see the points of the non-affected?
And if you see someone having an issue and keep 转牛角尖, do you or do you not paint a bigger picture for her to see?Or do you support and reinforce her stance and let her sink into deeper resentment?
I should think parents of such kids are no less brilliant than parents of ri and rgs kids.
I do feel that they are the ones who see a clearer picture of what's happening.
They are not in love ie. 当局者迷, and 旁观者may not necessarily be 清 since the onlookers do not participate in the same kind of worries and uncertainties as they do, or get the opportunity to interact with the related authorities for the clearest picture.
People who are plagued by troubles often do not need more advice. They often simply need a listening ear. Not sneering or trivialisation of their problems.
The voice of these parents sounds clear as day to me. They are asking for support and understanding, not spoiling for a fight.
If you (as in the general 'you') have nothing kind to say, at least don't say things that make the troubled ones feel worse.
*I apologise for always entering long posts. Have always meant to type short posts but in the end dunno why become so long.
So having said that, my view is that the so-called affected here are not representative of all affected and also they have no right to asked the 'unaffected' to shut up. Furthermore this is an open forum, so everyone and anyone can comment on any view (except those that disturb social and racial harmony)... not just the views that the 'affected' wants to hear.

Thank you for your viewpoints and concerns. If nothing else, the affected parents have built up their emotional resiliency after enduring all the sniping and snide comments in this forum.

Ah boy seems to have matured overnight. Proud of you.
I am sure not just the affected parents have built up their emo resilience but everyone else who participated in the hot debates here too. We are not short of bullet 'shots' too, whoever first 'open fire'. Yes, this is 4+am and I am awaken, getting ready to prepare my children for schools. I ain't complaining as all good (in my own way of classsification) schools are worth making the (literally) extra miles to travel. :xedfingers:
Good luck to all the parents and students participating in the dialogue session on 25 May! 加油! -

放肆!岳飞可是我们中国历史的伟大人物, 不得无礼。
何须牺牲呢?没有小我又何来大我?25HMOM:
同学们,which is correct?
牺牲小我,完成大我 or 牺牲大我,完成小我?
岳飞尽忠报国却换来了莫须有的罪名,牺牲小我未必能完成大我。
Hasn't he become eminent after his sacrifices? You think SAP school students st** is it? Non-saps also know sia.
You want your next generation to be 自私自利的人吗?
