If you do not get a place in P2C, you will automatically be in P2CS. If you still do not get a place by P2CS, then you will be leaving it up to MOE to allocate the school for you. The key (and probably only) considerations that MOE will take into account will be gender, race and distance. So try not to leave it to fate (or MOE) to decide.ptb7476:
one question , assuming i am not allocated a slot in my choice school phase 2C i will move on to 2Csupplement right ?
what if it is still not allocated ? MOE will allocate right ? wonder will MOE taking into consider my family has 2 kids ( Boy and gal) and allocate my son to a mixed school so that in future the sister can register in diff phase ?
After Phase P2CS, it will be at Phase 3. If you are Singaporean or PR, you go the schools which still have space at Phase 3 and apply directly at the school of your choice, you will still have priority over the foreigners. You do not have to leave it to MOE to allocate the school to you. Unless you still don't get a space in Phase 3, then MOE will allocate the school.

Dear parents, can anyone advise me for P1 registration form hardcopy , where can we get it from? The MOE will send to us or is there a website to print out? Thanks a million.
You only get the form on the day you register.
The Phase 1 form was sent out already .... the fun is beginning !! :rahrah: -

Yes, you can, provided you first withdraw from St Hilda before enrolling him in Waterway Pri.
Any idea if i can register my boy at st hildas under phase 2A2 (12 july) first, then if we are guaranteed a place there, am i still able to proceed to Waterway pri (phase 2c wed 27th july) to register my boy if i find Waterway may be a better school for him? I'm gonna speak to counsellors from both schools and can only decide from there.
Thanks in advance!
That said, I would be curious why you would do that if the concern is over the suitability of the schools for your child. Between 2A2 and 2C, you have 15 days to do your groundwork but between now and July, you have around 2 months. What could be established in 15 days but not in 2 months? -

Thank you for the advice. You just said exactly what I had in mind. I will go ahead with CHIJ as my first optionshaanu:
I reside in Toa Payoh. 1km to CHIJ Toa Payoh Pri & Marymount Convent. Which is a better option? CHIJ is affiliated whereas Marymount is not. CHIJ is walking distance from my hse but to Marymount, my dau has to hop on to public transport which is prolly 2 bus stops away. As for education wise, which will a better option? Please share your views! Thanks in advance

CHIJ is the better option due to affiliation. If you are prepared to stick to the IJ family, you will have affiliation to JC as well. Unfortunately, it requires balloting in P2C (whereas Marymount does not). Given that you live within 1km to both, the logical option should be to apply to CHIJ TP in P2C, and apply to Marymount Convent at P2Cs (which typically has lots of vacancies) if you miss the ballot.

Hi there,
Iām intending to register my girl at CHIJ Kellock under Phase 2A2 .
However, CHIJ Toa Payoh is nearer for us, hence Iām thinking for registering her in Phase 2C later on.
So one parent has to stake out at Kellock and the other at Toa Payoh, once the chances look good, the parent at Kellock to cancel the place and call the parent at Toa Payoh to register immediately?
Anyone with experience of doing so for their elder kids, appreciate your advice and tips to look out for on such a plan.
Also, any feedback on Kellock and Toa Payoh IJ? Which is a better school?
Thanks in advance for your advice! -

I withdrew from 1 school to register in another school within 5-minute drive about half an hour before registration closed because the first school was oversubscribed. :scared:Hi there,

Thanks Floppy for the reply! The prob is coz my son has an anxiety disorder and i will have to meet up with the school counsellors from both school to see which school is more supportive of his condition. Waterway pri counsellor is only able to meet me on their open house which is only a few days before their enrolment is opened, whereas for shps, the counsellor will be meeting me next week. Hence, in a dilemma. Gonna push the counsellor at waterway pri for an earlier date again .

Thanks Galaxyraider.
You did this in Phase 2C right?
This can be applied if we managed to get a place in the 1st school in Phase 2B2 right? -
muffin:
For my case, I had not even secured the place yet, but I was monitoring the situation in the first school as it was a more popular school. In the end, I decided to let go and went to the next school as my chance there was higher. Both schools were within 2 km.galaxyraider:
