15 more for ACSJ and 7 more for ACSP before SC <1km goes for balloting!
:nailbite:sidekickasia:
If I hear correctly over the phone, the numbers are:
ACSJ
35/2/5
ACSP
32/1/6
I didn't ask for PR numbers. Probably still the same as 1pm. -

But if acsj don't reveal the breakdown, we can't try to even out both schools!
See pm -
Would anyone try for acjs 1-2km if ur child already has a slot in another good school, but longer travelling time needed ?

Which school? Does it have an affiliated secondary? Is it a SAP school? Secular school? Those are the things I'd weigh. And how much longer is the traveling time? -
Sorry I can’t remember who mentioned that his/her choice of school was based on where the son’s friends applied.
I just want to mention that the boys from the same preschool will deliberately be split up into different P1 classes. This it to ensure better integration and so fhe kids gotta start from ground zero like everyone else in making new friends. Last year the big bunch of boys from BRMCK and also Kiddiewinkie Preschool were spread out into the 9 different P1 classes at ACSJ. There is some slight benefit of seeing a familiar face around the school outside classroom time. But other than that, it is useful to prep your child to start new friendships too. Cheers. -
andrew1,
i suppose you won’t be sending your son to ACS? -

If you're willing to ballot then by all means go ahead. However, do have a backup school in 2CS in case you get balloted out.
Like Floppy said, \"A bird in hand is worth don't know how many in the bush\". -

Based on chiefkiasu stats yest on % of people who apply on each day, estimate how many more will apply tmrw huh? I still dun really catch how to interpret his table.....
I think is the APP % multiply by Available Vacancies
I am totaling up for 2 schools for each day. Total includes all home distance categories.
2016
Day 1: 67 applicants
Day 2: 86 applicants (additional of 19 new applicants)
Day 3: 92 applicants (additional of 6 new applicants)
But we know that in 2016, there were 76 or 77 applicants within <1km at end of phase 2C of which 69 successfully got into ACS.
2017:
Day 1: 63 applicants
Day 2: 85 applicants
Day 3: ????
We know as of now there are 67 <1km applicants.
For 2B, the total of <1km applicants is almost the same in 2016 and 2017. 64 versus 65.
So will number of <1km applicants in 2017 be the same as in 2016 i.e. 76 or 77?
Should we be expecting 11 or so applicants today? Hopefully we will know more after the morning session ends. -

i am an OLD boy of ACS

I never would have guessed, what with your \"very very very very very very very very very\" articulate posts in the other threads earlier this month. Nice covert operation there.
