The JC journey only starts 4 years later and lasts less than 2 years. Effectively, 2/3 of the work is done by the 3 secondary schools leading to the JC. While the JC COP is not high, SNGS, SCGS and CHS have COP of 255, 252 and 254 respectively which put them on par or higher than some IP schools and all 3 are very established schools. Furthermore, the JC is moving into a new compound next year, it will have some of the newest resources available. As for adequate experience, the teachers aren’t exactly fresh from NIE; they have taught in some of the more ‘established’ schools before receiving their new posting.tryourbest\" post_id=\"1906085\" time=\"1555041483\" user_id=\"176900:
hi any feedbk on this jc? how did their recent batch fare for their a levels? wondering if it's worth to dsa to the sec schs which r linked to this jc. As this jc cop isn't so high n it is a new jc with not much track record to prove yet. the dsa route to the sec schs only accepts ip n not o level for the domain we wish to try so this means we will be locked into this jc.
very scared as my dc is in one of the newer pri schs in sg and based frm what I c they do not reali have adequate experience, resources to help the students for psle unlike established schs. more like trial n error. .

You are putting the cart before the horse. First, you have to get into the sec school before worrying about the JC. However, if the JC is really a concern, do consider another school offering the DSA domain.tryourbest\" post_id=\"1906085\" time=\"1555041483\" user_id=\"176900:

Hi Floppy,
Thanks for yr reply. Indeed maybe i think too far ahead alrdy. The reason i m particularly concerned abt 'newer' schools is due to my current bad experience w 'newer' pri schs. school seems very ill prepared for psle and the sch's first batch of psle students did very badly. i also used to think that moe will put 'heavy weights' or very good n experienced principals to start the school right. or even if not, the principal n teachers would want to set the std high but i was very wrong. so once bitten twice shy. -
Dear tryourbest,
Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the new primary school and the poor results of the first batch of psle.
For EJC, you can look at last year’s A Level results. EJC did well, on par with other IPJCs.
Also, MOE is putting in a lot of resources into EJC. You may go to the EJC website and you can see that EJC has many of the programmes which are offered in other IPJCs as well. -

if u are not comfy n no confident in eujc productions in A levels (which is many yrs away for your case),,, prob u should start to'look at other more estab jcs eg njc, hci, ri, vjc instead .... its ok to prep early , so many kiasu parents n grandparents may have started too . Actually a lot of parents have confidence in eujc thus they send their kids to sngs, chs, scgs IP ( psle cut off abt 251 is not easy to achieve , these are v above avg kids ) -
thanks careermum & my pillow for yr reply. Note taken.

May I know how many CHS boys from IP get into Eunoia JC every year? Almost 99% are currently in EJC?

2018 gce a level batch (born 2000) -
May we know, what is the percentage of pioneering batch of A level students, that scored 5 distinction, as well as scored 6 distinction ? Thank you
btw, Eunoia Junior College is ready for TOP, end of this year (2019 ) -
Hi,
My girl has been called for an audition to Eunoia JC under DSA.
Has anyone else gone through this route? Would appreciate any pointers.
Thanks in advance. -
Hi,
My son received CO by CHS for IP. He will be attending Eunoia JC in his year5&6.
Would like to ask parents to share experience whom kids attended or currently attending EJC.
Thanks in advance. -

Ejc last year A level result was not impressive- Science result didnt churn out as good even with bulk from IP kids of CH, SNG, SCGS.

RP is only ~82 point which is 2nd last among the IP JCs and lagging behind non IP JC.
Better to be in CH OP which has high std then excel, then do A level in RI, HCI or other better JCs.
Also, theres a disparity culture bet JAE n IP students inside.
If u not from IP, some JAEs will take a while to mix n no sense of belonging.
