Hi RRMummy,

            1. You have to boil the vinegar in your burnt pot for an hour or so. It really stinks up the kitchen unless if you have a outside/wet kitchen.

            2. If not, you can try boiling a can of coke/pepsi in your burnt pot.

            3. Or you can try and boil a few spoonfuls of baking soda and water in your burnt pot.

For all 3 methods, after the mixture has cool, you need to use elbow grease (sorry no easier way) and a soft scouring pad (you don't want to scratch your lovely pot too much right?). NO STEEL BRUSHING!!!!!

Good luck, hope your burnt pot comes back (shiny) to life šŸ˜„

Rust will come back no matter how hard you remove it unless you coat with a layer of anti-rust primer. I recently removed all rust on the dining chairs (4x) and table stand by sanding, and with vinegar. Applied primer and painted a new coat of silver paint. Lost the shine of chrome, but gives a new matt finishing. Took 2 days to do this.
How to remove rust of the metal chairs? any one

                  TIA

hi, not tested but will using sandpaper to rub against the rusty areas help? vaguely remember this method, anyone can confirm?

It does but only for a short while. Need to sandpaper down and if possible, have a little coat of some thinner-like stuff (can't remember the name....oops!)
Use a piece of charcoal and scrub the pot. It works.

Finally have the time to do up the cloves packs for the main gate, hall windows as well as the 24/7 opened kitchen windows..

                      Something to share..

I found something call Drain Net For Bath as I could not find the empty tea bags to contain the cloves..

Not bad as the drain nets costs only $2 for 35 pieces and holds the cloves and diffuses the scent of the spice too..

                      Just to share.. šŸ™‚
