What a comic relief! Sorry to hear about your knee though.....duriz:
When I stepped down, my foot slipped into the longkang hole, so I crawled into the cab on my knees, and closed the door behind me. The cab driver looked at his rear view mirror, couldn't see me board but saw and heard the door closed. He nervously turned around and asked: \"Xiao-jie, are you there?\". My waist long hair was in a total mess due to my \"mini-fall\" but as I raised my head and rearrange my hair, I looked at his sweaty nervous face and said calmly:\"Yes uncle, I'm here. It's 9am, where got hantu?\" p/s I scraped my knee pretty bad though

No problem. Glad to make someone smile. What's worse though, was that I cried out a little and told the cab driver: \"Uncle I hurt my knee!\":rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
What a comic relief! Sorry to hear about your knee though.....[
And the \"nice\" cab driver had the audacity (after learning that I'm NOT an apparition) to ask me: \"Your angmo knee?\"
I was like @$#^#$^@%^%@$%@^ :x -
My turn. Wanna hear my personal true encounters?
Some personal true stories to share:
When I was a teenager, I saw flashes of spirits. Example, one day I remembered crossing a zebra crossing at Telok Blangah, as I am going to cross, I saw a man wearing white singlet and white shorts, squatting under a tree just at the zebra. As I crossed halfway over to the other side of road, the man is no where in sight.
On hearing, at different locations, I heard lost or grieving spirits crying. One was an old grandma. I remembered the undertakers who took her body away, walked past me. I did saw her skinny head (crowned with white hair). Her body was covered adequately, only the top part of her head was revealed slightly. That’s how I know she is the one, as my mum saw her running/skipping in the air very swiftly at the void deck from one end to another during the wee hours one day.
I was also attacked by a spirit before. I was close to grandma when she was alive, so my family and many cousins love to stay over during every weekend. One day, we the kids were asked to run some errands at nearby shops. To take a short cut or closest route to the the shops ahead, all of us had to take a short flight of stairs down from the raised open land. Of course, we can go by the slopes, but what the heck was the stairs for? There was railing on both sides. Each of us ran down the short stairs one by one. All left one after another, while I’m the last one. As it was my turn, just as I was getting ready to to set my foot, the stairs look very tall to me. It was like a towering effect. This strange feeling did not deter me. I decided I had to rush to keep up with my cousins. Before I can finish skipping a few steps, I felt my right leg couldn’t move, a powerful force hit at my right thigh with all its might. Tears rolled down my cheeks immediately. Screaming in pain, confused, I looked around to see what is happening. No one. There was no one. There was only a big metal container for burning offerings. It was broad day light. Thinking something was not right, I limped as fast as my heart races.

Part II continues...
The pain was so excruciating, it felt like a heavy violent hammer whooshing down mercilessly before ending on my thigh. I then moved forward quickly, disoriented from what had just happened.
Although still in shock, I was still in my right mind to run to the shop where my cousins were buying things. By the time I was there, they already paid and were running back to grandma's home. Thank goodness, we all ran up the slope up from the other closest way from the shop, and skipped the stairs which was the other side.
Finally, we reached grandma's home \"safely\" and before I had a chance to tell everyone about the attack, a few of my cousins complained about the \"tall\" stair. That confirmed something strange about it. Grandma immediately advised my mum to take me to a medium, to find out what happened.
Till now, I still remembered vividly of the big 5cm (diameter) bruise on my thigh. The medium said I had offended the spirit there at that time. The spirit had died at the stair when he/she jumped from the block of flat right in front.
As instructed, we burned some offerings, incense, at the \"site\" and apologized for unintentionally treading upon he/she.
After that this incident, life was back to normal. My cousins and all never ever wanna go through that stair again.
And me? I take detour to avoid even to look at the site.
Anyway, this true account was 20 over years ago. -
My mom passed away (from illness) when my DD was just 2 months old.
On the day that she passed on, all of us were in the hospital till quite late to settle the caretaker stuff and things like that.
DD was alone at home with my domestic helper. According to her, my DD cried a lot that day and was very restless.
It was only much later that my domestic helper told us more. At about 7pm that night, my DD who was still sleeping in her room started crying. My helper ran into the room from the kitchen, but upon opening the door, she saw my mom standing behind the baby cot. My mom apparently looked at her at that instance. She said a quick prayer and promised my mom that she will look after my DD properly, quickly took my DD and ran out of the room…
Knowing my mom, I know she must have felt she needed to do something, as DD is my first born and I don’t have any other family support at home other than the domestic helper… just like her last word to me "sayang"… -
This happened when I was in primary 3 and my elder sister was studying for her exams late at night. We shared the same bedroom then. As I was bothered by the white lights in the room, I put a mattress in the living room to sleep. A while into my attempt to fall asleep, I could hear a faint sound of ringing bells, coming somewhere from the back of my head. I have my head back facing the storeroom door which is closed. It sounded as if the sound was coming from the storeroom…and it became louder and louder as the seconds passed. I was trembling and my eyelids were fluttering as I was trying very hard to keep them shut. I was so scared that I did not know what to do. The bell-ringing sound was literally just behind my back when my sister opened the bedroom door right at this very moment to head for the kitchen! The sound abruptly stopped and it was silent again, except for my sister’s footsteps! I instantly grabbed my sleeping barang and ran into the bedroom! To date, I am still wondering if my sister had not come out of the bedroom, what could have happened…I still think about it at times.
It was years later when I was told that I had probably slept at a bad location. I had placed my mattress in front of the altar… -
