Looks like in kids' eyes now, parents will be looked upon as their heros only if you acn earn $$$$$$$$$$. Sad or not huh?

IMHO.. This is not necessarily true... it really depends on the emphasis we put on $$$ when we are talking to the children..

Are we doing enough for our own children?

Very nice story RRMummy.. I too sometimes feel due to our busy schedule we hardly have time for our kids then slowly when they grow up we miss the time we couldnt spent šŸ˜ž

Ya found it nice and though it would be a good sharing..

Yup.. my guilt as a FTWM is always always there.. but whatado..only way I could is give 100% of my time besides office hour to them..

šŸ™ I will never see a similar essay from my gals.. šŸ™

DS rekindled this habit of writing small little notes to me recently. His last note to me was 'Dad you are my best friend, I will miss you when you are gone.' Upon receiving this, I don't know whether to  or to :x . In the end, I :faint:

                    Your DS is a darling.
Enjoy him while he's still yours.

Ya man. When he gets married, I'll relegate myself to 2nd tier. When he becomes a father, I'll relegate myself to 3rd tier. All this already in the pipeline so I šŸ™ that I'll have less problems with future dil. I'll say to dil, ds is all yours. Take him, take him, both the good and the bad šŸ˜„
