My P2 boy just finished his exams yesterday. He was bored so he asked me to read to him the newspaper. So I took the opportunity to explain to him that the ST is made up of various sections such as the Prime News, Home, Sports, Life etc and when we were on the Obituaries section,
DS2: Mum I wish I could be the PM.
Me: Why?
DS2: So that when you die, your picture will appear on TV instead of here.
Me: : Sorry son, only people who have made great contributions to Singapore deserved to be featured in the news. I am ashamed to tell you that mummy is just an ordianry person .
DS2: It’s ok mum, you are still my dearest mum, Wo Ai Ni ! -

just to share…
i have lots of colourful Ikea boxes to house my 3.5yo DD’s toys…
so being kids, she just loves to pour everything out onto her playmat…
i got sick of clearing after her and insisted that she put everything back into the box (only 1 box) before playing pc games…
she was taking a super long time and i peeped and realised she was semi keeping and semi playing, before putting the toys back she will finger / play with it for a short while - no wonder take so long!!
i left her to it and after a while she came running to me in tears…
"Mummy, why you buy so many toys for me??"
it is the same @ dinner time when she cannot finish her food…
"Mummy, why you give me so much porridge / rice??"
so everything is my fault! -
