why not go see a gynae?
return of menses usu when milk supply dips, and ur on 20mth old should be taking quite a lot of solids than milk right?
just check w gynae for peace of mind…
i bf 2 tog, 7 mth and 22 mth and still got occasional breakthrough menses -
i continue nursing nonstop aft 1st delivery (menses returned after 9mths post delivery), continue nursing thruout 2nd preg and history repeats
i supp u ask ur gynae why menses hasnt rtn. seems quite long to be > a year -

Hi catang,talking abt return of menses, my boy is 20 mths liao and still feeding. i have not been having menses till date and many around me asked me to go for checkup saying something is wrong there, should come after a yr or so.
any of you whom had been feeding non stop for 2-3 years same like me menses free?
Most women will see a return of their fertility by the time baby is 24 months, though a small number may actually remain menses free for longer (ref: http://www.kellymom.com/bf/normal/fertility.html). So there may not be a need to worry unduly. Every woman's nursing patterns and body chemistry are different. -

peh-boo realized that many singaporeans still cannot come to terms with breastfeeding in public - exposing ur breasts in view of general public.
last time got 1 mother tried breastfeeding her baby in mrt train also kana chased out.
why like that hah? :? -
in my nursing days i wore nursing tops 24/7, at home n in public.
it also helps when i sling my bb cos my bb can nurse and sleep even more discreetly in the sling
so i can nurse my bb anywhere anytime even in mrt cos it will be discreet enuf. i can nurse n talk to my friends, eat my food, shopping, all at the same time, without stopping. -

My DD latched on direct as well as drink EBM from the bottle.my boy only drink direct, rejecting those kept in the fridge and warmed for him, formula doesnt work too. he is basically sucking for comfort and after attending infant care, he latched on so tightly even when sleeping. the moment i \"plugged\" out, he cries non-stop.

I don't know how or why she self-wean.
She just decided to.
Sometimes at home, she would pull down my t-shirt at home to look at them girls, and say \"nehneh\". But no nursing :roll: -

Don't worry every woman's body is different.
And even for the same mother, every pregnancy is different. -
