      hi 3boysdad,

my children have a piano teacher now. you might want to consider.

I am also looking for a piano lesson for a 6 yr old preparing for grade 1. He has been learning for 2.5 years but his current teacher didn’t seem to be a good fit.

We stay near holland but don’t mind to travel to the west for the lesson.

Please PM me if anyone has a good recommendation. Thanks!

I’m looking for a teacher to come to my place to teach both my kids (10yo and 7yo). I’m staying in Sembawang. Does anyone has a good recommendations? My son is going for his grade 1 soon and both are currently attending weekend classes.

Please PM me if there’s someone in mind.

                Thanks in advance!

Why is there a high demand for piano teachers to prepare kids for exams recently. :?

I guess exams are here and piano lessons in school are too short to brush up all 3 songs and the other sections.

Recently a lot of students looking for teachers to listen to their playing and judge. Very busy!!

just curious, how long does a teacher take to help a student prepare for the exam? 3mth? 6 mth?

Depends on individual. Some kids need a whole year to prepare, must remember that it’s not just pieces, it’s also the scales, sight reading and aural. In many ways, sight reading, scales and aural should be on-going, not just during exam period or for exams.
