      ksi:
      Funz:

I for one will splurge on mattress. We are supposed to spend a third of our lives sleeping so don't stinge.

We got King Coil when we changed our last mattress after close to 10 yrs. DH likes it and when I was trying it at the store it felt ok. Problem was we were taking turns to lie on the mattress and not together. Now I whenever DH toss n turn the whole bed moves.

So when trying out the mattress, get your spouse to lie on it as well and toss and turn to test it out.

This is what I mean....Simmons one...no movement can be felt when either party moves in the sleep.

For us, both of us sleep like logs, so no movement can wake us up. Hehe! :rotflmao:

QuiteKSMum, once you try, you won’t ever use another brand - that’s the only ‘down’ side. The Backcare series is really good for back support.

ksi, mine also super duper heavy ! I can’t flip the mattress on my own. Must go try out the new ones in the galleries.

That's true. My mattress shakes like an earthquake. not fun when my boys jump on the bed in the mornings. but it is a good alarm clock lor...

but the simmons - no movement. and it's a single bed.

So looks like Simmons has one of the best mattresses? Must go take a look one of these days.

Btw, some of you mentioned it’s very heavy. May I know how heavy is heavy? Does anyone have the weight? I’m worried if the delivery guys have the strength to carry it to my master bedroom.

Happy Mama, no need to worry about that. You are the paying customer, trust that the delivery man will find a way 🙂

                        MummyThreeStreams:
DH and I are using a King Koil. But after we bought a Simmons for my DS1, we are now Simmons fans. I love to sleep on his bed! Even when two of us are squeezed on it, I still get a good night's rest. Unlike sleeping on my King Koil - always waking up with aches and pains...and it was not a cheap model either.

Now waiting a couple more years to change my mattress. I'll probably get a Simmons. But does anyone have feedback on Sealy? I think their advertisements are quite cute!
My DD's bed is Sealy whereas we use backcare3. Sealy is also very comfortable but I don't know how are their bigger beds as compared to Simmons. I have been a Simmons fan ever since I worked as their promoter as a part time job after A levels.
