can i check, do we need to practise solfege woth our child? each time teacher will get the children to sing to on notes while she play on her piano.. maybe to tarin their listening.. like when she play do.. she expects the kids to sing do mi so.. when she play ti.. she expectes children to sing ti fa so.. after 3 lessons.. DD still haven learn to catch it... she still do mi so.. when teacher play ti..

You can try to practise with her at home. Start with do mo so and ti fa so. She should be able to catch it in class after this.

There are many time slots and I would like to choose, based on the teacher.

yamaha is now having sales for their piano untol 31st Dec… the price for Acoustic Piano U1 different… for silent it can go up to $9.9k… there is one white colour, Acoustic piano U1 J PWh $6.9k… also have cheap one like P-95 $1049 what is this type ? haven reach the teacher parent session to ask which to buy… any recommendation ?

my DD JMC teacher during PTM session suggested to buy electron instead… but is it worth the investment… and why not piano ? she said piano not that early… but electron is like going twds organ or something? keyboard E series good ?

I don't think it is worth buying an electron.

Btw, I have a Yamaha Portable Keyboard PSR-E323 for sale, used for half year, well-kept and in very good condition like brand new one.

My kid used it in Yamaha Junior Music Course.
