1) Within 1km
2) Prefereably with church affiliations since they need PV?

Spoke 2 many ACS parents. They said Acs Junior results definitely better compared to Primary. ACS Junior has Primary children only. But ACS Primary BarKer share with Secondary as well. I prefer all primary instead.. don't need to share tuckshop with Secondary school.

I also understand new ACS Junior is 3 times bigger compared to current school. They even have a Performing Art Centre! Impressive! I got the source from School.

Not only that, ACS J will even have a rifle range. Only one in singapore! This is what I call 'branded school' Haha! Both schools are just as difficult to get in.

Yes, I had a choice of registering for either ACS Primary or ACS Junior since I was applying under 2B and am within 1km to both schools and I knew my chances of entering both schools were good (based on historical trends). Had decided on the latter because I like that ACSJ will be housed in a spanking new school with bigger and better facilities! Can't wait to see the school during the orientation in Nov

Just last Sunday, we just swinged by the new school to take a look. The school building really looks good! It is now about 75 - 80% done. Heard that they will be moving in there in end Oct or early Nov this year.

Correct me if I'm wrong... As long as you are a member of any methodist Church, you can opt for any Methodist Primary School under Phase 2B. But of course, you have to choose school that is near to your house for higher chance of getting in.

There are about 6 to 7 Methodist Primary School that you can opt for...

1) ACS Pri
2) ACS Jnr
3) Fairfield Methodist
4) Methodist Girls' School
5) Geylang Methodist Primary School
6) Paya Lebar Methodist Girls' School

... cannot remember the other few...anyone?

I think you could try making a donation to the school..not 1k or 10 k..100k might just do the trick!

Have to agree with you. The older kids are rough and they might terrorise the younger ones..Btw, there is a rifle range in ACSJ but they are converting it to a TABLE TENNIS room instead! =/

I think the best thing I can do right now is to get my hubby to rent a condo near the school and apply under Phase 2C. I think that will help.


Anyways, anyone living near there ,can suggest to me what are the condos there ..thanks
