Anderson Primary

Hi daddy’s wife,
May I know what do your kids actually complain about?
And you mention that the quality of the teachers is not very good, so I suppose their teaching method would also not be that fantastic and thus do they rely on a lot of homework to drill the kids?
Hi Sunflower74,
Can you elaborate more abt “situation really worsen”? -
where is Anderson Primary? At Yio Chu Kang?

As parents, we can only trust the teachers to handle it well. I’m sure no teacher will resort to hard approach if they have not tried soft first and it didn’t work. We as parents would also try soft first and if it didn’t work, we will move on to the next. It would be presumptuous of us to reproach the teachers because of that. Even if they used hard approach, what will u do? Will U be one of those who make police reports over such things?
I’m not sure how is the bully situation in Anderson compared to other schools. After all, we just hear some isolated cases here and there. I’m sure all schools have bullies. -
Hi Daddy’s wife,
My son is in 5.6. -
Actually, I prefer Mayflower but my mum finds that it have a lot of slopes and the canteen is in the basement… So since I am previously from Li Hua, my son need not ballot for Anderson, I just go for Anderson.

My daughter is gg to P1 next yr, so thinking of trying for St Nic if there is no balloting within 1km. But also heard that it is quite stressful and when the kids results are not gd, the teacher actually call the parents to ask them to send the kids for tuition outside or consider changing school…

Sure will ballot lah. I'm sending my younger one there. Hope she can survive the stress. -
But this yr Singaporean got priority so maybe higher chance. 2 yrs ago, no balloting for within 1km.

Well, all Singaporeans will think the same way and they will try for schools that they would otherwise not try. So end up popular schs will still ballot.

Haha, true true… Maybe this year lesser girls?
