      Cookie Monster:
Just a quick check is that that Singapore Citizens are given priority in P1 registration in the event there is a balloting situation.

How about for the case of no balloting situation? Assuming there is 100 places left in Phase 2C. The group size are as follow:

      Singaporean, 1Km = 20
      Singaporean, 1-2 Km =10
      Singaporean, More than 2km = 10

      PR, 1Km = 40
      PR, 1-2 km =10
      PR, More than 2km = 10

My question is will the PR staying at 1Km be given a place after the SC being allocated at 1Km? This is for non balloting situation.
For your example, everyone will get a place since total applicants = total places = 100.

      Let's use other examples...

      1) Ballot for PR
      Available places = 100

SC applicants (regardless of distance) = 70, all get in.

      PR, 1km = 20, all in

      PR, 1-2km = 30, ballot...30 vying for 10 places

      PR, >2km....all no chance.

      2) Ballot for SC
      Available places = 50

      SC, 1km = 30, all in

      SC, 1-2km = 40, ballot...40 vying for 20 places

SC (>2km) and PR...all no chance.

Yes, the school needs info of both parties. But both of you don’t have to be present. As long as the original documents are with the party who is registering, that’s fine.

I went alone when I did mine.

                Hi

I will be registering my DS under phase 2A2.

In the event if there’s a change of plan, can I still register under phase 2C ?
If yes, is it that I go to the first school to do the withdrawal and then proceed to second school to register during phase 2C?

What is the withdrawal procedure ? is it done on the spot when we go to the first school to withdraw?

                Thanks!

Do any parents bring their child along during registration?

I’m registering my dd under Phase 2A2 next week and I’m thinking of taking her along just to show her how her school is like and what to expect etc. I don’t know if we are even allowed to walk around school, I’m guessing no?

after you had registered your child under phase 2A , you may bring your child walk around explore school premises :-

show her where's the canteen, bookshop, toilet, library, play ground during recess time, Teachers' common staff room, Principal office, garden / fish pond (if any) etc ?

                    go to canteen.
Show her how to queue up buy a bowl of noodles / rice / drinks (example) and ask her, \"can you count the money, check whether you get back the correct change from the stall owner ? \" Then guide her how to count the $. This is the best time to guide him / her the real life application on topic \"Money\", to be taught under P1 Maths syllabus.

                        Hi,

Which website can I monitor the vacancy availability by phases? Will it be in real-time?
