The school is not even in the position to investigate unless if one can prove with evidence.
SCGS applicants for last year intake around 50+, not much different from this year. -

Btw, anyone has a breakdown for scgs? All SCs?
I think 46 are SC and 1 PR -

Having addresses change in the last 9 to 12 months does not necessarily mean fraudulent. So long as one has not done anything wrong, there is nothing to worry even if MOE, schools and home team start investigations.
let us just assume that whatever PI detective tricks P1 Mummy had applied, somehow she is able to obtain a list of NRIC for SC staying less than 1 km, before balloting takes place, next Tues 7 August. Inside this list contain many names of parents shift house within past 1 year, just to enrol into SCGS.
Qn:
how is she going to prove that inside this list of 46 SC < 1 km, who are the ones with the intention to cheat ? -

Precisely! -
Is it even possible that she can obtain such confidential info? In that case, what / who can prevent her from harassing our family members ?

Exactly, so it does not mean that someone with addresses change in the last 9 to 12 months would mean fraudulent.

It’s also a norm for parents to move house near their school of choice. What’s wring with that?
-
Anyway, anyone has update on smps? I have checked the central site too, nothing mentioned. Tmr is the crucial day.

P1 mummy, After reading your comment above, I am very worried if you apply for scgs because I am worried my daughter has a chance to know your daughter. You sound so arrogant and talked like a big bully (with words like 'move heaven and earth' ..'this is a promise not threat '...etc).
:goodpost: Beyond reasonable doubt, surely!! -
P1 mummy,
Just curious. Why is it A MUST for your girl to get into SCGS? There are other girls’ schools not too far from your place, e.g. St. Margaret and Marymount. I would say most of the girls’ schools in SG are relatively good.
Is the exercise that you mentioned just for SCGS or for the whole of SG? Are you implying that one can’t shift after the registration and need to stay in the registered address for the full 6 years?
