Are All Primary Schools The Same?
-
At 630am, only hubby is awake. I am still in bed.
Dreamybee,
I’m glad your twins are doing very well but isn’t the 630am regime too tough for primary school ? -
WOAH :!:
Remedial at 630am ? Then what time must they get up & leave for school ? 530am ?
How about the teachers? I pity the teachers - don't they need worklife balance too?
Honestly, no offence intended, if any school wants my son to report to school at 630am just to have remedial lessons, I'll flatly reject (no matter how \"weak\" my child is in his studies). It is ok to stay back after school for remedial but to arrive for remedial at 630am is a separate issue altogether.
I mean, while we seek to constantly provide our children with the best educational support that they need in order to nurture them & stretch their potential, we have to be mindful of the fact that we have to ultimately embrace & accept them for who they are (whether academically brilliant or not).
There is appropriate time for work just as there is appropriate time for rest. And we are talking about the life of a primary school child

What!!!! remedial lessons at 6.30 a.m.....
at 6.30 a.m....my whole family still in bed.......poor kids -
Must got sufficient sleep hours …ONLY THEN the children perform better in their studies…don’t the teachers know that
-
“JUNIOR SCHOOL” sounds like some private school…
Maybe the teacher sleep there? hence can be ready for class at 6.30am… -
May be 6.30 is for remedial class (for selected pupils)
After school is for supplementary class (For all pupils)
Wow! Time not enough -
If all schools same standard then why the CCA is different? My son likes to play chess, but his school don't have. Some educational trips and competions all different. If all school are same standard the all school get a good result. Some schools concentrate on CCA activities while others are on studies. Some schools push the parents to teach children while others not,why like this? :frustrated:

All schools have different way of teaching and therefore the CCA etc are different too..
thats why some schools are more popular
Bottomline, the leadership team have to find a \"name\" for the school and themselves (be it academically or sport or technology...etc).
These days, I think school did a pretty good job promoting themselves and their \"expertise\" so as parents, we just have to try place our kids in the desired school. -

:offtopic: your DD take coffee? Both DDs are not allowed coffee and tea. They both also avoid as they have the impression that the caffeine will make them bounce around the room like the Chipmunks
